I have had beards in my day but seeing guys looking like it's 1872 walking around is very strange. Do you young guys know girls that enjoy that look?

Shaving every day gets old fast. I am firmly with Dave here, the instant I don't have a professional obligation to keep it under control I'm going full natural.

Dudes who spend years growing out some low T soyboy beard and are afriad to shave it are trash.

No issue with them, but if I’m being honest... if someone comes into an interview with a long, unkempt beard (which has happened a few times recently), it is over before it started. Shows a lack of thoughtfulness and preparation, IMO.

I guess. But only in that setting. In people’s personal lives, I don’t give a fuck what they do one way or the other. They could go pantsless for all I care. Don’t like it? Don’t look.

Women like them. I salute anyone who is able to maintain one of them. I grew a beard about 1/3 the size of Letterman's late last year and I looked homeless a couple of days after leaving the barbershop.

Shaving can get old, but when a beard gets to a certain length there is time involved in grooming it and keeping tidy. Either way, its 'face time' so to speak.

I can't grow a long beard, but really don't have an issue with it. I can't imagine that its very comfortable in the summer months.

I think these hipsters are ruining it for the rest of us. I like a 5'o clock shadow into a weeks full of a beard. After that, it gets too itchy and nasty looking for me.

I'd be pissed if Aaron Rodgers brought Olivia Munn to a job interview too.

There is a point where you put up with the grease and itchiness because shaving is that arduous. I grow beards about as fast as one can, I'll shave twice a day if I have to. In the winter it's nice because within a week I can go back to having a mask but other than that I don't get the fascination.

I'll usually grow a beard once a year, almost always during the winter but I have never really let it go like that. When I was 19 and 20
I let my goatee grow really long. It was long enough that I could pull it up and touch my nose with it. Basically grew it so that I wouldn't
get carded and it worked pretty well for the most part. The wife doesn't care for the beard so I usually only keep it for a month or so.
Since I already have the goatee and long side burns, it takes just over a week to fill in the sides. These really long beards just seem like
a lot of work and I would be getting all kinds of food and stuff stuck in there.

I don't shave on weekends except for mass or formal events but I break out when I let it grow too much. I always have. Actually, shaving was a pretty good solution to acne albeit a bit barbaric.

I go back and forth. Not quite David Letterman long, but I've had it maybe 3 inches or so. I keep it tighter over the last year or so.

Probably. There was a guy who came in the other day with a Willie Nelson-looking beard that had a number of longer, scraggly hairs hanging down beyond the beard (by cracky). It was gross and distracting. I mean, he was weird as hell anyway, but the beard didn't help.

Why are Duck Dynasty people applying at an insurance company?

Ya' got me. This guy had a look in his eyes that just wasn't right, either. Not sure how he made it through the screening process.

You're not operating under the impression that you're a paragon of mental stability, are you?

For all those suffering from itchiness and beard flakes when you grow out your facial hair I strongly recommend going to Amazon and ordering some beard wax.

As someone who has a beard over 90% of the year this stuff is a life saver.

Stops the dry skin, and also works as beard cologne.

I know a chick who's into guys w/ beards.

I'm pretty sure it's just the millennials trying to destroy the razor industry.
