Replace IMU with Nas. Not sure imu is rated very high.

This is a hard exercise because we generally aren't in the habit of building people up here, only breaking them down. Who is there who needs to be taken down a peg?

Two of the three wisemen could use it. Seacrest gets shat on a lot, I dont think he's very highly rated anymore, but the other two are.

Agree on Nas. He’s a shell of his former posting self and is too busy to be a CFMB regular now. No longer has the fire and passion.

Jorr’s a very good poster that has no business on an overrated list.

I'll tell you who is definitely overrated, and it comes directly from the prevailing opinions in the underrated threads, are sports posters. The crowd that sticks to sports basically just sit around in empty threads talking to themselves like quaint zoo animals for the rest of us to gawk at. "Awww look at the cute NME he only posts in the Bears forum! He's so doe-eyed and innocent, he'd never join the fray in the big, angry mean threads where feelings get hurt". Nothing against those guys, but I tried to really talk sports on here and nobody is interested.

All of my highest effort posts this year have been about the Bears. When I go on some tirade about how the left is recruiting minorities to self destruct western civilization by making them think they'll be able to loot the piñata afterwards I often wont even bother to Google basic facts, hoping either than I'm right anyways or nobody will bother to call me out if I'm wrong. I know overall my point is correct but I'm not putting that much effort into making it. Bears posts? I will Google and double check and watch videos and really try--but the threads are DOA. The entire Bears and NFL forums combined saw maybe 200 posts during the draft this year, Sterling Brown matched that number in 24 hours across the main thread and the handful of knockoffs that sprouted up. Nobody is interested in talking or arguing sports. You can tell there are posters who are making token efforts to try and talk sports but their hearts aren't in it and they'd rather just condescend and hate-bathe in the Trump Year 2 cyclone or somewhere.

Its like Ford pulling all its cars out of the North American market. Everyone suddenly loooooooves the Fiesta now, but over the past 5 years who was buying them? Proof is in the pudding lads. This is simply not a sports board at the moment and unless a sports discussion can tie into the culture war nobody is interested.

I agree that JORR is not overrated but I'd still like to see him get cut down a peg or two just because, as CH said, its in the spirit of the board for everyone to be viciously attacked whether they deserve it or not.

It would’ve taken you like 10 seconds to check the draft stuff and know you are wrong on that topic.

The rest of your post is wrong too imo. NME isn’t my favorite but guys like Rob Wolfley are really solid. There’s interesting posts to be found in the sports sections where things aren’t always binary. Every political topic we have on here is the same people saying the same shit with no differentiation ever. I used to partake but now only resort to it when the rest of the board is completely dead and I’m bored as hell. It’s textbook mental masturbation and it’s thoroughly uninteresting. Reading a block of text from you/JLN/LTG/Ogie/Rick/etc about some bullshit political topic everyone will simultaneously forget and yet repeat in two weeks is the worst of the worst this board has to offer.

Your anti-Rondo/anti-Duncan fire was wrong. I enjoyed the rest.

I've talked sports more than politics over the past couple of months but very few people join in. I imagine that will change during the Bears season.

The board desperately need the Bears to be good. Not great, room for people to complain, but good. I am very glad they seem to have drafted some guys with some personality. Anthony Miller is going to be a lightning rod, he doesn't have an ounce of humility in him (I love it btw). I've read some thing that indicate James Daniels can be a very unpleasant person when he is angry, and that he likes to play angry.

If Miller can rack up 1000 yards acting like a total asshole making fun of opponents and counting himself among the NFL's elite when its totally unwarranted I will be very pleased in more ways than one. I think half the problem with the lack of vigor in sports discussion is the Cubs are Winnetka Inc., the Sox are a soulless blob with Abreu being the only guy who has a personality (Giolito does too but he's rip) and the Bears have been purposefully made boring by their coward GM.

It always amuses me when posters think that their personal opinion of me somehow is relevant to my day to day existence.

Two years ago?

America just likes to poke us. In the end no one here is putting food on your table or helping to provide for your family. This place is entertainment and a distraction from our personal lives. Along the way you may also meet some people that you genuinely like too.
