Back when Jim Hendry was GM, he got criticized for all kinds of things:

being reactionary, being a starry-eyed bully, being dumb, not being analytical, etc.

But what about Jed Hoyer?

What issues do you have with him and his regime? It could be anything from how he runs the team, to his personality traits, the way he looks, anything. Let's sling some mud here.

What is funny about that? He has one bad signing. Heyward and that did not stop them from winning a World Series.

He was key in getting Rizzo for Cashner. That alone is better then anything any previous GM has done on the Cubs. Closest thing I can remember is Ramirez for Bobby Hill and a couple other duds or Sammy Sosa for George Bell.
