The "foregone conclusion" thing is what's truly laughable in all of this. Both teams will probably only make the finals because of injuries to star players.

In addition is this and HawaiiYou spoke to this. I know everyone believes that parity is such a great thing as it relates to things like the NFL but maybe it isn't. How many times do you watch a Super Bowl champ and get the feeling that you really aren't watching the best team win?

Parity is really just code for mediocrity. How many Super Bowl winners of the past 15 years will really qualify as an All time great team? How many only get there because of better teams having been knocked out during earlier rounds of the playoffs (often not by them either)?

The NBA seeks to have the best 2 teams from each conf play in the Finals every year. For the most part they have been able to achieve this.

The reason that people remember the Lakers Celtics of the 80's is because those were two great teams competing for championships.

No one remembers the 06 Heat team.

I dont appreciate greatness unless its one of my teams. If not that give me upsets.

it's a great thought....what did he do yesterday? Nothing....he played the Cavs with one guy one.......they had a better team on the court than Cleveland!

Which actual decisions did he make as coach which cost them the game yesterday?

He(Stevens) lost with a team of nobodies, to another team of nobodies + the best player in the game today.

Let Rozier keep shooting the rock....and get better shots and move on offense very stagant...play with the same energy and intensity they did in the 1st 2 games

I agree about Rozier. He should have aborted mission on that early when it was obvious he didn't have it. He also let Brown continue to launch bad shots too.

He should have featured Tatum more but didn't.

I still don't think he cost him yesrerday. They missed a lot of wide open shots and you admitted as much when you said that it wasn't good defense which caused all the misses.

No you don't but its meaningless to argue when you agree on something. I'm interested in how a team with Irving and Hayward isn't expected to beat Cleveland (as was the case with you prior to the start of the season) but a team without them is (as is the case now)?

Took about 10 seconds actually. Simple NBA search with your name attached to it. That is how easy it was.

Secondly i spelled it correctly. There are a few different ways to spell that particular name. Trust me i'd know.

This is stupid. I never paid that much attention to it and thought that he spelled it with the Ph instead of the V. It still doesn't mean that it is an incorrect way to spell the name. You can spell it either way.

This is stupid and you are trying to deflect from the essential point which is your negativity. You hate everything.

Everything.Someone praises a player or coach and you are johnny on the spot to start dissing. Someone (namely FF or me) tries to speak as though they know something and you are right there with the customary diss. Give it a rest. I don't hate sports. Sports is entertainment. I sometimes take it too serious but i don't hate it.

You do however. Rings true in every post that you make.

Yeesh. Unless you consider 32% from the field with more turnovers than assist to be awesome then I guess he is. He was also thoroughly outplayed by Eric Gordon by the way.

While you are chest thumping about Lillard on Westbrook your star in training wheels was proceeding to shit all over himself.

At least Lillard is an All Star. Gordon is a glorified 6th man.

Conveniently you have avoided this topic (though you were locked and loaded the second he had any semblance of success) for the majority of the playoffs.

Guy ain't all that good. Damn sure isn't "awesome". Another FavreFan hypeman job.
