What NBA players have knelt during the anthem outside of Abdul-Rauf like 20 years ago? The NBA apologists claim "well, the NBA doesn't impose fines"..... yet nobody kneels? Seems like there is some influence in the NBA leadership that is stopping players or highly discouraging them from kneeling during the anthem.

Years ago the NBA changed its dress code for injured players because the ticket buying (white) public found their style of dress appalling.

It isn't beyond the realm to think that an edict regarding the national anthem wasn't issued in likewise fashion.

I remember having that debate here. I was all about the urban look. Now players come to games dressed like their homeless or a homosexual stereotype and it's not an issue because they wear a sports coat on the bench.

I think it's mostly just one guy.

Angry & hella gay. Or just has the biggest set of nuts in the NBA. Not that that is saying much.

bumping this after Kerr said last night that they would've won the series in 5 if Iggy didn't get hurt.

Talk about lack of self awareness. Never mind the obvious retort of Chris fucking Paul, how about the fact that the Warriors are the luckiest team in NBA history in terms of managing to win all their titles partially because they benefitted from injuries to star players on the other teams. You can make a HOF roster of players that have been injured and unable to play vs GSW in the playoffs.

2015 round 1: New Orleans loses starting PG and great defensive player, Jrue Holiday.

2015 round 2: Played Memphis without all star PG Conley and all defensive player Tony Allen.

2015 conf finals: Noticing a trend here, played Houston without Beverly, starting PG and all NBA defensive player.

2015 finals: Trend continues, Steph conitinues to march on without facing a quality starting PG in his path. This time, Irving is out for the Finals. As well as Kevin Love for good measure.

2017 round 1: Played Portland without starting center Nurkic.

2017 round 2: Played Utah without starting PG George Hill

2017 conf finals: Played Spurs without, you guesed, it, starting PG Tony Parker. Were also missing some guy named Kawhi Leonard.

2018 round 1: Bonus 2 for 1 sale as Leonard still out for this one.

2018 round 2: Played New Orleans without all star Demarcus Cousins.

2018 conf finals: down 3-2 to Houston, they lose HOF PG Chris Paul.

2018 NBA Finals: Maybe Love again?

It really is pathetic how lucky this team got. I don't remember MJ and the Bulls facing any teams missing star players for even a couple games, let alone an entire series. I'm sure there were some examples, but I dont remember and definitely not at the ridiculous level of GSW.

'91 Finals saw the Lakers lose Worthy & Scott in Game 4. Those are the only major injuries I can remember in the Bulls run.
