This is about as much of a concession as you will get. Oakland No and the Bay Area is only able to support the Warriors because the Warriors lack competition in the area.
The bay area has more professional sports teams than Chicago! San Jose to Oakland is like 31 miles!

Oakland's baseball team will move in the next 20 years and the Football team has moved twice in 4 decades. That isn't major market to me. You need three metropolitan areas just to be self sustaining then you aren't on shit.
Is LA a major market? They have had football teams move in and out a lot.

i have always thought of the Warriors as Oakland's team. I'm a basketball fan you aren't remember. San Fran has never been much of a supporter unless they were winning and I don't know where the hell San Jose comes in at. I can produce articles from 6 years ago when the team wasn't on shit and San Franciscans could give a fuck about them. Some Major Market they were. Oakland stuck with them throught the lean years.
Ok, produce those articles.
Here is one right here
https://www.mercurynews.com/2017/11/25/ ... ood-deeds/Sure sounds like a Bay Area team to me.
Let the spinning begin.
is this like the TV market article you posted where your offered proof actually proves you to be wrong?
using LTG logic, the white sox shit attendance is because chicago is not a major market
can you just admit you aren't able to comprehend TV markets...?
Can you just admit that you can't comprehend what i am saying since you fail to address anything that i say?
Read and stop addressing poster usernames.
I understand TV markets well. San Jose has never identified with the damn G.S. Warriors. Who cares if they show their games in San Jose. When the team isn't good they won't give a fuck. If their market is so damn strong then why in the hell have the Raiders left twice?
Now that the Raiders are gone which team becomes Oakland's team 49ers or the Raiders?
Oakland has been regarded as the Warriors city for as long as i can remember.
I will accept the L on the Outlying bullshit but technically my numbers pertaining to city limiits were factual.
The population for the 3 cities were about 2.3 mil. Thst is 500,000 less than Chicago.
I rarely factor outlying areas into any discussion when it comes to population.
You don't reside their you aren't from there. Media can work a little differently but when i thought about markets i didn't think about outlying areas.
