The only part I watched was when I tuned in to see what was going on. And guess what happened. Q gives up a 2 run game tying hr. It was literally the 2nd pitch I saw him throw. Turned it off after that. That was vintage Q.

There is nothing to be in denial about. They have not played that well so far this year.

But it is Memorial day weekend. There is like 3/4th of the season left. A ton of baseball left to be played.

You live and die way too much on a game to game basis. Even the best teams in the league lose about 40% of the time.

I am thrilled to have this team to root for. Most of my life has been spent watching terrible to mediocre teams compete year in and year out. They have done what I thought was impossible...they won the fucking world series! They remain a solid club that has a ton of potential for this year and future years. I am going to enjoy the ride knowing there are going to be ups and downs in this beautiful game of baseball.

yes you're right and I have the same past experiences as all cubs fans our ages do. But that's why it's so frustrating. You got the caddy now all loaded but it's been driven like a 90 year old grandma. We're wasting away a golden opportunity in this franchise's history.

Q will always be what he was with the Sox. An up and down pitcher, but up more times than not. With the Cubs he gets more run support hence a better W-L record.

Quintana has started 25 games for the Cubs. He had good stretches with the Sox too.

Q's 2018 W-L record will likely be within 2 games of .500 at the end of the year because that's who he is. Right meow he is a career .508 pitcher. When he hangs up his spikes, he will probably be somewhere between .480 and .510.

Chances that you will call him a motherfucking piece of shit before this season ends: 99.99%

Insults such as that are for children.

To be clear, I mean to be used when insulting children.

For you Pitcher Wins fans, only 10 pitchers have more wins than Quintana this season. On pace for 17 or 18 wins.

Wow, tough break for Q. Gave up zip through 5 2/3, then bullpen gives up a 3 run home run with 2 runs charged to him and the lead is gone.

i knew when he was taken out something bad was going to happen. He set up the jam for the next guy and it's just that Q luck the next dude would give up a game tying bomb. And Cischek has been pretty solid this year.

True. But you and I both know you would have had a message typed in here before the ball hit the seats if it was Q who gave it up
