Now you've piqued my interest.

And now that I think of it, have any of you :) ever had Crown Royal in a semi regular rotation?

In my younger days I would drink it straight from a bottle.

My oldest son now mixes it with ginger ale as his drink of choice.

It almost seems like a generational (& community I thought) drink. Given that there is no ad money behind it.

Brother in law drank it when we all were younger. It seems popular out here with the younger guys in early 30’s or so but it’s never been one of my drinks of choice.

Our family always had Crown Royal for guests, although my dad maybe had one mixed drink per month at home.

I drank a lot of CR on American before they got rid of it in first class a few years ago. Now I drink Woodford instead, although I rarely drink it at home even though I have both the regular and the double-oaked (vanilla-ish) about 15 feet from me.

The secret is the high uric acid content.
