Just appreciate his talent and passion for the game. We are lucky to have great athletes like him and Lebron, true generational talents. It is why we watch the games.

I never really follow the Eastern Conference as much as the Western so I haven't watched a ton of him. I've seen him lose enough in the playoffs though and he always seems to do just about all the scoring for his team. It was very cool to see him so jacked up last night about finally winning. Dude looks like a giant muppet now too.

watching him raise the cup was pretty cool. just based on his reaction you could tell how much pressure was just lifted off of him now that he finally got a cup.

Yeah, I'm seeing that too. Hawks fans seem to have no particular animus for the no-longer-Crapitals because they've never really been a threat. They always beat the Hawks in forgotten mid-season games in Washington but no one seems to care.

Yeah, it's hard to cheer against Ovi as he isn't a diving, whining bitch like Crosby

Very true. While he has loafed in the past at time, the guy brought it the entire playoffs. I used to root against them and cheer when they were upset but after watching them so often in the playoffs I have grown to enjoy watching them play. I have always watched more Eastern Conference hockey since they start at 6 PM and I can watch all of the games so I have watched Washington probably the most out of all teams besides the Hawks. I have had Backstrom, Niskanen, and Orpik on keeper fantasy teams for years. I made a trade for Wilson last offseason and he is fantastic in the league due to his hits and PIM. Overall, just very happy they won.

the last 2 seasons the dude played like a teammate. I never thought I'd see it happen. It did, so I'm cool they won.
