Been a bunch of shows on this case (20/20, Dateline, forensic files). Haven’t had a chance to watch the Netflix special yet.

Seemed guilty watching the other shows.

For some reason I thought this was coming out later this month.

Yup. Michael Peterson. Had a girlfriend die the same way 20 years before. Defense said she was attacked by a bird then fell down the stairs. That’s why there was blood everywhere.

I thought it was an upcoming true crime thing on Netflix along the lines of Making A murderer.

Fuck it now I'm really confused.
The ($) YT episodes have the same titles as the free Netflix ones.
I'll stop wasting everyone's time and just watch the fuckin thing on Netflix.

Watched the first couple episodes.

I feel like this series is more aimed at the defendant's side, whereas all of the other shows on this case were from the prosecution's side. I feel it a bit disconcerting that someone thought it was a good idea to document this entire event from pretty much start to finish -- makes it seem like someone thought this would be a money maker on the defense side.

$850K for a murder defense, too. Sheesh.

Also, the defense came up with probably the dumbest theory of this lady's death that could be imagined. "She fell from 3 steps up the stairs, hit her head, fell, hit her head again, passed out, woke up, slipped on her own blood, then hit her head again, then bled to death -- all while her husband sipped some wine by the pool."
