So Goff said he's hoping for something to break for him in Chicago. Which pretty much means he's hoping ESPN 1000 hires him. Cuz he's not going to any other radio spot in this city. He claims that he's had meetings with ESPN 1000. But Goff said he's worried that when they go behind closed doors the ESPN 1000 management will say "All he wants to talk about is race". Goff thinks that's the word on the street about him. And he hates that he has to defend himself against this.
So ESPN has heard his past shows. That is one of the main topics he did talk about.
I'm sure he has lots of offers out of town .
I don't doubt he's gotten offers from other cities. Small markets in the South. Goff can probably bounce around from southern city to southern city doing radio for a while. If Goff wants to do that. Those cracker towns love to get northern boys. But eventually Goff's gotta stop getting fired. He's gotta last more then 2 years at a spot or else even the southern towns won't want him. Goff claims his 2 firing were bullshit and he was wronged. But after the 3rd or 4th time, even Goff will have to start taking the blame. Not that he would.
