Jeepers. Just change one 5 letter name for another and you'd be half way down with it.
You are an insufferable fool.

What is this act? It's dumb and weird. I swear Frank obsessions on this board are as unhealthy as our collective JDC watching. There has to be some latent BigFan fluids pumped into certain people that make them strangely attracted to riling Frank up.

I'm starting to panic that MVP voters will be reluctant to vote for him because of his team's record

I wouldn't be too concerned. The 250+ strikeouts will be enough to convince them.

He's on pace for 230 stikeouts yet he currently has an OBP of .350. So that's pretty fucking good.

And the strikeouts will go down. He's hitting the ball now so pitchers will be more careful and he'll walk more then he already has been walking.

He's gonna be a great player like I said when he was shit 2 weeks ago. Bottom line. So all of the doubter can shut up.

Bryant started out with an obscene K rate, he's cut it yearly and always had a nice obp.

Hopefully Moncada ends up much better than Bryant.

Moncada post-April splits:

May:
82 Plate Appearances
.205 AVG
.582 OPS
30% Strikeout Percentage
1HR/6RBI/7R

June:
82 Plate Appearances
.195 AVG
.582 OPS
38% Strikeout Percentage
2HR/6RBI/8R

So he’s been a sub-600 OPS hitter since the beginning of May with a batting average right at the Mendoza line.

When they move the team to Habana in The Duck's second term, then Moncada will reach his all star potential.

He doesn't even matter anymore. He can suck all he wants, this time next year Madrigal will be at Birmingham and knocking at the door. Clock's ticking for Yoan Moncada.

The Sox can fool you like this and make you really sad when you see how shitty everyone at the big league club is doing, but the reality is they dont really NEED any of those guys. Giolito, Lopez, Moncada, Anderson...meh if they suck they suck. In a year their replacements will be arriving so it doesn't matter. Except for at SS, where they are conspicuously weak organizationally, they are like 2 or 3 deep at every position and have enough arms to burn through guys at the major league level every other month.

They have more outfielders than I can keep track of. More outfielders than they have minor league spots to play them. Adolfo and Rutherford are being held back at High A because Birminghan has literally FIVE outfielders already who should be getting everyday reps. And then there's Robert and Steele coming on top of all that. You dont even need faith in the White Sox to see this eventually working. You get 10 or so talented guys together vying for one or two spots and you're going to find someone who can play.

This time next year they'll be adding another top flight blue chipper in the draft, because even though I hate this sucking they at least dont get all cute in the draft. They take the best guy on the board and run with it.

Lopez is already good. And the book is not written on the rest of those guys, but I get your sentiment. They have a lot of talent on the way.

Even when it looked like he had arrived earlier this year I didn't buy it. Moncada was fool's gold from the start.

But last year at this time you were trumpeting guys like Giolito and Moncada. Why are you so confident that the next wave of prospects won't eventually prove disappointing, too?

I've never really trumpeted Moncada. Hated that trade from the instant the made it.
I was all in on Giolito and then he lost 5 mph and all his control. He forgot how to pitch.

What they are going to do is overwhelm the major league roster with numbers. Starting this August and really hitting its fever pitch this time next year its going to be perform or die because at almost every position there will be intense competition. Its not a case of "OK they really need this guy to live up to the hype"--that wont matter. The only guy even somewhat on that level is Eloy and he is the one guy they have who looks close to a good bet to be really good.

Everyone else is disposable. If they fail there are two more who are going to be ready to take their spot. And beyond that you've got guys like Burger, Fulmer, (soon to be) Giolito and Moncada who may ressurect themselves in new roles or come back into the picture. But they dont even matter really, I'd like for them to be good but if they're not...oh well. The only place they are weak is at SS, but even there they have a couple teenagers in Jose Rodriguez and Lenyn Sosa who are starting to make some waves in the low end of the minors. And they keep drafting toolsy HS SS like Curbelo and Lency Delgado, so they are prodding around there and who knows out of those 4 or 5 guy they've got who are still really young one maybe emerges. It still kills me that Tatis Jr. got traded for James Shields though. That hurts really bad.
