There just wasn't a decent end for MiB. Was he always in some parallel World? Did he die laying against a tree? He was already shot up pretty good when he killed Emily.

I did like the twist with the re-animation of Dolores in Hale's body. Cute booty on Hale.

Do we get a double dose of Dolores next season? She's inviting Bernard to be her opponent in the fight to kill off humanity, a Holmes vs Moriarty relationship? Why?

I don't really see the point of next season. I don't care about Robots Take Manhattan. Westworld is cool because of the quarantined society. I'd rather see how they developed if they were able to live on their own on the island.

I think that will be explored in a future season as well. MiB in the post credits scene appears to be in a park where the hosts are in control and are trying again to create the human-host hybrids.

I can't imagine Ed Harris and Anthony Hopkins are going to devote another year of the twilight of their careers to this project. I expect cameos or single episodes from them hereon.

The Anthony Hopkins scenes were all filmed in like a week I heard. He wasn't a real presence this season and I agree with Toxic that this was it for him.

I could see Ed Harris not being around for season 3 but coming back when they do Futureworld in season 4 or 5.

We watched both seasons in about a month. I thought both seasons were great. I hope the real world stuff works because it seems dumb that someone who has been killed literally hundreds of times and brought back to life by humans would somehow kill all humans.
