Malls! Remember malls? I remember malls. Randhurst in particular was a home away from home when I was a little kid and we needed to go shopping but didn't need to go to Woodfield. Some guy whose office was in there videotaped the place after a renovation in 1989, which is more or less as I remember it from the '90s. Gaze upon Bergner's, Carson Pirie Scott, Montgomery Ward, and tons of other stores that don't exist anymore in a mall that doesn't exist anymore. I'm halfway through it and still keeping an eye peeled for Spiess and Door County Confectionery.

I am not sure there will ever be something to top the classic Peacock Alley at Ford City.
