I read the Spurs have zero interest in Lonzo a week or two ago.

They can’t have ZERO interest in him. Lonzo is still an intriguing young point guard. Plus, it’s looking like the Spurs will have to deal with the Lakers because that’s where Leonard wants to go. Who knows what Danny Ainge is offering. The Celtics can’t afford to give up a “godfather” offer when they know he may just bolt for LA next summer. Unless there’s a team in the East that doesn’t care about 1 year left on a contract like OKC last year with Paul George. Oladipo and Sabonis was a nice pull.

How about the Bulls sign and trade LaVine to the Spurs. Throw in Portis, Dunn, and next year’s 1st. They then sign LeBron. And call D-Rose to see if he wants to come back home.

I doubt Pop wants Lavar Ball around. Lakers will probably trade Ball for a 1st round pick to use in a trade for Kawhi.

Spurs would be stupid to take that deal.

Ingram isn't even 21 yet. He still has major potential and took a big step forward this year playing with Lonzo.

I asked the question in the Sixers thread. They said Kahwai is not signing with the team he is traded too and missing free agency. Shouldn’t that lower trade price?

Elections have consequences.

It lowers the trade value to Philly and Boston a little but he's valuable enough where he is still worth a whole lot as a one year rental.

Also, the Lakers didn't offer much for Paul George last year because they thought they would get him as a FA and now they might not so they likely don't want to make the same mistake with Kawhi. If they can trade for him before Lebron makes his decision it will increase their chances of landing him.

I love that lineup, hope it happens. You've got an elite perimeter scorer, a potentially elite big man scorer and then 2 3&D wings in Bridges and JJ and Zo to facilitate. Plus great size throughout. That would be a fun team to watch develop.
