Kind of hope the lakers keep that ball kid on the team vs trading him as they’re gonna do.

Would love to see that big mouth Lavar mouth off LeBron and get his bum ass whipped.

No idea what he's doing here from a competitive standpoint. As currently constructed this team won't even get past Minnesota. Besting GS and Houston is a pipedream as of right now.

Lakers are trash aside from LeBron and he's never proven that this "carry shitty team to playoffs" act can work outside the east. I think it's a moot point because Cousins will join him and even fit hey only wring half a season out of Boogie that'll be enough to push them in, but that team could easily miss the playoffs. Big Baller Brand is kind of a joke and is dwarved by the James Machine, but it's got just enough publicity and exists in the perfect era to be really disruptive to LeBron's image. If that happens it'll be a legendary self destruction that should prove more entertaining than anything LeBron has done on the court in years.

You’re either underestimating how good LeBron is or underestimating how much one player impacts a basketball game. The Lakers are going to be very good next year even if thinks are rocky and don’t go as planned.

This team as presently constructed isn't a top 5 Western Conference team.

I think that’s a crazy opinion. We may have another wager in our future my friend.

If they roll into next year with this Laker roster i take that action in.a heartbeat. I expect them to acquire a second star/superstar guy but if they don't i will definitely take the bet.

You all are going to look pretty dumb next year in May.

I do find it very amusing though that I’m firmly in the Jordan is GOAT camp, you and JBills are firmly in the LeBron is GOAT camp, and yet you two think he will struggle to be even competitive in the West.

Apparently the Jay Cutler excuses for LeBron will forever endure. “He’s the GOAT but he needs a lot of help to win because for some reason that makes sense.” - JBills and veganfan

Seriously, can we allow for Thibs to win at least more than one playoff game in Minny before unzipping his trousers?

I don’t think it’s fair to blame him for not winning more than one playoff game this past year but I do think that gif is a fair reaction to veganfan’s nonsensical comment.

How is Jason "1" Goff handling the news? Let me guess: the same way he handles everything in life, by quote-tweeting people who are mean to him and talking shit about them for the approval of others.

Marriage of the two biggest excuse makers in the NBA (sort of). The marriage Lavar and Lebron is a rather interesting one.

Not enough buses for people to go under with those two.

Same issues in Chicago, he's running that roster into the ground with too many regular season minutes. Wiggins has gotten worse under his watch, that team should have made ALOT more noise this year.

Yes, my obvious trolling aside in all those goat threads, I do think Lebron is the most talented NBA player of all time, but MJ is the greatest NBA player of all time. For the record.

I was enjoying the overreaction to the mere suggestion Lebron could be greater.

I expect the Spurs and Lakers to get this deal figured out tonight or tomorrow morning. If Harden and CP3 can take the Warriors to 7 games, LeBron and Kawhi can win the whole damn thing next season. Showtime Lakers are back.

I see a lot of problems on the horizon for LeBron. If they dont get Leonard this is going to get very ugly very quickly. I dont think James even gives a shit about the BBB thing, doesn't even pay attention to it. But he will if things get bad and Ball is not going to back down.

They were the 3 seed when Jimmy got hurt for 6 weeks.

I just don't see how/why Popp and Buford help the Lakers dominate the west.

If I'm the Spurs I'm not trading him to LA unless their offer is leaps and bounds better. Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram aint doing it.

Someone has to stand up to the players on this front. What Kawhi did was inexcusable and should not be rewarded with him going to play wherever he wants to.

Yep. Needed an overtime win on the last game of the season just to make the playoffs. They also are no longer considered an up and coming team either.

Yup. In reality they probably look better now with a core of Dunn, Lavine, KAT, Wiggins and Lauri(+ capspace) Garpax fucking hosed him over in that one

Houston's supporting cast was much better than what the Lakers currently have.

Yep.
His moves are killing the franchise. He jobbed out in order to make the playoffs.

That roster would definitely have been in the championship mix in 2-3 seasons.

He's the guy that comes out gangbusters the first 5 minutes in a workout, puffs his chest and 45 minutes later is dead and can't even finish. Surprised so many here are falling for the con.

It would be something if the Spurs dragged this out until the trade deadline.

The Spurs have to trade Leonard as they aren't really a free agent destination either. They have to get something for him.

I think that’s completely wrong. Wiggins sucks and is actively deterimental to teams. Ball is a good player and his net plus minus rating reflected that.
