I stand because of those who fought, bled and died for our freedom. It is the least that an American citizen can do when the flag which represents these men and women is raised overhead and our national anthem is played. If people do not wish to stand and respect out flag, they have the right to do so as American citizens. The issue of whether NFL football players need to do it is another issue.
