If the police can block vehicle traffic from entering an expressway, than they should be able to block foot traffic from entering as well.

If these guys really want to grab attention, they can go jump the barricade and stand on the red line tracks to try to halt the CTA. Just make sure you contact the 3rd rail, it's how you stop the trains!

It was flying the US flag upside down (at 65 has a better memory than RPB ) and you were running around like FF or ltg to prove me wrong

No, it wasnt. It was the CHI-RAQ flag flying over the US.

This was the decision that was made, and we’re going with it. We’re not backing down on it,” a defiant Pfleger said.

Pfleger didn’t budge when told the expressway march would require 200 officers to be yanked out of South and West Side neighborhoods plagued by gang violence.

Quit treating him with kid gloves just because he wears a collar. Arrest him and anyone else that violates the posted law against pedestrian traffic on the highway. Make it clear that they will not be allowed to blatantly violate the law and interfere with traffic in order to gain attention.

arrest is not a deterrent to civil disobedience and is usually an ancillary goal

Correct. Arresting him is exactly what he wants.

Which is why letting him walk out there and getting hit by a bus is the correct strategy in this case.

As you know, I'm a liberal beta-cuck when it comes to tougher gun laws, but I don't see how that would make a difference in the inner-city. The majority of those weapons are acquired illegally therefore tougher gun legislation seems like it would be a moot point.

I agree with you. This guy gives priests and religious people in general a bad name. I am Catholic but there are so many things wrong internally with the Catholic Church including its leader that it should think about cleaning up its own mess.

This POS is set to start this in an hour, if you have to go northbound, get on north of 79th street. I hope a bus kills him and a few dozen other jerkoffs.

How dare he practice civil disobedience? I do agree, however, that we should keep the problem of violence in black neighborhoods hidden.

The great part about it is that years from this, THIS will be looked back upon as the event that ended whatever the fuck they’re protesting .

it's disgusting wh*tes who are behind all violence in Chicago. look at the numbers, THE REAL NUMBERS. that's why blacks should be taking back the expressway that they built. just like everything else blacks built in the USA. once wh*tes are pacified and no longer so violent they can enjoy peaceful existence under black rule. just like in Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Protest in the neighborhoods that are war zones, not on the expressway where the rest of poor ducks have to commute.
