So, there is this internet meme about who would win between a full-grown male grizzly and a full-grown male gorilla. This isn't even close... grizzly all day. A gorilla is a vegetarian primate! But there are some educated people who are actually saying gorilla.

I honestly don't know. Kinda would like to see that one. Depends on if they are in close quarters or not. Gorilla much more agile
but the bear is gonna be tougher to kill and has claws. I'd say the bear wins but if the gorilla knew how to choke the bear I would
think it has the strength to kill it or break it's neck.

They can move and just dwarf the black bears like the one JORR posted. When I was taking fish and wildlife classes out west they had claws and skulls brought in of all the major predators in Montana. The Griz was a sight. I can’t even imagine what a Kodiak or Polar would look like in that setting.

I always enjoyed the lessons we’d get for field days just in case we encountered one. Should of just told you if you get mauled, good luck.
