Back to the original point of this thread, yes, you can do a lot of fun cooking. If you have a grill, you can do a lot of grilling and smoking and those are flavors that are really hard to develop inside a kitchen. Google "beer can chicken" for an easy intro into cooking... again, it is somewhat foolproof, but even if you screw it up once, just try again.

I think such a person could be reaching out for advice and help on a board such as this. There's a couple ways to react. Your way of being a jerk is certainly one way to do it... and maybe you are right, maybe this is a long con by some poster here, but what if you're wrong? What if this is a real person looking for help? We've been down this road before with SHARK, and nobody believed that... but it was real, and you ran the guy away. He was a nice guy who didn't mean any harm. Why do we want to put HawaiiYou down that same path? I just don't get it.

Another good thing to practice cooking is pasta -- it is pretty easy to cook... just buy the packaged pasta and it will tell you how long it takes to cook on the package. I like to get the shorter kinds of pasta -- sometimes it is harder to cook the spaghetti or linguini because it won't fit all in the pot at one time. Rotini is great or the wagon wheels. Then you get a separate pan to warm up the sauce... if you really feel up to it, you can brown some Italian sausage, drain the oil, and then put the sauce in there. Once the pasta finishes, you can drain it in a colander, and then put it in with the sauce and mix it up and let it cook for another minute or so. Take it off the heat, put it in a serving dish and put some sprinkled parmesean across the top... it is super easy and tastes great. You can also find some frozen garlic bread to go with it... that is as simple as putting it out of the package and into the oven.

That's my go-to for dinner and four lunches: pound of penne or rotini, pound of Italian sausage, sauce, diced tomatoes, onions, green pepper (frozen in a pinch on these two), garlic, basil, and giardiniera relish. I like mozzarella or the six-cheese blend instead of parmesan, though. The gooeyness balances the acidity of the giardiniera and tomato sauce.
