The Kings had some unfortunate news strike in the middle of summer league action Saturday night. Their rookie, and No. 2 overall pick Marvin Bagley III suffered a hip/groin injury in their match against Phoenix. That injury will force Bagley out of their next game Sunday and cause him to be doubtful for Tuesday.

On Monday, Bagley will have an MRI to see the extent of his injury. The results of that MRI will likely determine how the Kings choose to approach the rest of summer league.

Marvin Bagley III experienced a tweak in his right hip flexor/groin area during tonight's game vs. Phoenix in Las Vegas. He will undergo an MRI on Monday and more information will be shared at that time. He will not play Sunday against the Clippers and is doubtful on Tuesday when the Kings take on the Memphis Grizzlies.

Never said its the best thing ever but i'd rather watch it than a crappy College game. College basketball blows. I can learn much more about guys if they are playing against other pros than i can against Steak and Shake employees.

I don't watch all of the teams either. I watch the teams with Rookies picked in the top 10-15.

My basic point is that if i want to get a gauge on what Trae Young will look like as a Pro i have a much better chance of finding out by watching him against other pros than i would by watching him drop 40 on Colorado.

There is nothing i get from that since he is likely playing against vastly inferior talent.

It is not the best basketball you ever want to see but there is a higher level of talent and every player attests to it during interviews.
