After losing Friday and trailing on Saturday for a good portion of the game, winning this series was not looking good. It was seeing the comeback wins. However, Chatwood continued with his lack of command, with walks and wild pitches and had to use 120 pitches to go just 5 innings. Too much extended use of the bullpen once again. I would love to see Haap traded in a deal for a pitcher, just so Maddon could never play him again in CF and Almora plays every day. The strikeout machine needs to go.

Happ has improved over the last 15 games or so,but if they could package him and some ML stiffs for another 5th starter,I'm fine with that.

Happ needs to be molded into the second coming of Zobrist. He can play almost every position, which means he plays virtually every game. He's looking like his K struggles are falling behind him. I wouldn't trade Happ at this point, unless it really made sense. He's going to be Mr Super Sub for the next 12-15 seasons.

5th starter? No way... #2 starter for Happ, Caratini? Sure

Zobrist is a guy who more often than not, will advance a runner, if not get a hit, when it's imperative. Haap strikes out, as he did again 2 of 4 times last night. Plus, he's not a good defensive player. He's okay in a corner outfield position. But he's lousy in CF and just okay at 2B. Now they have him working at 3B. Maddon loves the strikeout machine for some reason. I just want him gone. Really SUCKS batting right handed too.

You expect to get a pitcher better than Jose Quintana in a straight up trade for Ian Happ?

 smh.

Caratini was/is a higher ranked catching prospect than your beloved Zach Collins.

Look at Mr IMUCub bringing up the White Sox in this thread. Very sad.

I still don't think that gets you a 2. Look what the Cubs gave up for Quintana.

Ok then. Do you expect a team to give up a pitcher better than Jose Quintana in return for Happ and a backup catcher?

Caratini has a ton of value, he and Happ are instant starters on almost every team. It's not easy finding a catcher who is good defensively and hits.

J. A. Happ is better than Q, we could get him for Caratini straight up.

Great.

They will get more than a backup catcher for him.

We'll see.. Caratini is a guy who you can pencil in as your starting catcher right now and probably8 more years.

He isn't very good defensively and he hits like an average catcher.

Oh, the haul the Sox will get for Narvaez!
