got away with the pence triple. thought they should have played for the dp with one out instead of 5 infielders in. But Cisheck K'd 2 and got out of it.

Also w/ Panda up, why not play for a dp. or at least the out at home. i guess it didnt matter since he got a base hit.

As for Rizzo, could it be he had a subconcious tantrum ? Maybe he was like in a 12 year old girl voice 'well if i'm not considered for the All Star team, then maybe I'll fuck up two easy plays'.

Hendricks looked great. Hope this game turns it around for him.

Really good game pitched by Hendricks, which was great to see. Really bad game for Rizzo 0-5 and he makes the error that allowed the tying run to get on base and then another error that allows him to get to third. I have to lay blame on Baez for not getting the ball in quicker that allowed the runner to score. Guys failing to advance runners with productive outs (at least) when they had a runner on 2nd and nobody out. Unfortunate loss.

I'm in Vegas for work. With Cueto scratched, I had a choice of Cubs -110 or Cubs-1.5 +135. So I took the latter, basically betting that they won't have a fifth one-run game in a row and actually win it.

ETA I seem to be on the betting side, the lines are now -129 and +120.
