If I ever get into a long standing message board beef with JORR, I got the sarcastic nickname all ready to go. It's perfect.

Dont ask, I cant reveal it.

Well you guys put me in a quandary (and not just you two). I have never had an issue with you. And I consider Jorr a friend. I wish you'd be more productive around here. Your labeling of Jorr is simply incorrect. And my choice is to sit here and call you out for it or just gloss over the thread shit posting. I try to be either constructive in my posting or humorous, and I tend to fail at both.

I think Jorr has taken a lot of shots from left leaning folks around here for his opinions regarding the Trump administration. He can defend himself in those conversations. Calling him a racist is unfair just because you disagree with his opinions on Trump.

I didn't call him a racist. I said it wasn't' shocking he was defending a racist. Anybody who disagrees with the Left, no matter how vile a person they are, will be defended by JORR. That's not a secret.

And JORR has said time and time again that he's totally not defending Trump and just (insert excuse of the day) instead. I hope by you saying "his opinions on Trump" that you aren't breaking the 4th wall. That would be a tragedy if it got revealed that "JORR" is just a character on a message board and not his actual persona.

Why is it impossible for you to disagree with someone without calling them names or making it personal? Are you capable of having an adult conversation? I genuinely don't understand, and I've tried numerous times. It's like you don't understand the meaning of written words, either someone else's or your own. Like, are you not trying or are you just trying and can't do it?

Jorr and I talked at Arlington ahead of the Clinton/Trump election. Even as a right leaning guy, I said that Clinton would be a better choice for this country. Jorr disagreed with me. And traditionally, he has been more left than me, so I was surprised by that. Since that time, he has expressed similar opinions to me as to what he posts on this board. He is probably one of the most genuine posters who rarely trolls others. His opinions posted here are a true reflection of his views.

You could have a real discussion with him. Just be productive, not insulting.

I've had conversations with him as well, and in person he's not the "my opinion is right and everybody who disagrees with me just doesn't get it" character that he takes on here.

You want this to be back to being real, then let's do it. All stop. Drop the role playing. Get rid of the obvious trolls.

This isn't about your politics. And it isn't about an occasional insult. It's about the rude way you post at everyone all the time. Not just me. But you have reached stalker-level when it comes to me.

Finally, I don't post in any other groups with you. Or if you're in the Facebook group, I've never seen you there and I rarely post there and everyone else in the group can confirm that. So if we have a problem we can handle it right here rather than in some secret society where you act completely different than you do in this forum.

If you find it so horrible here why don't you stick with the places you like?

Yes you rarely post there. But you are there. You seem to be afraid to discuss things outside of where you can control the conversation.

That's ridiculous. As is the idea that I have ever controlled a conversation with you.

I don't really see the point of the Facebook group and I rarely even look at it.

The problem with that is, you are always going to piss off about half of your customers on such a charged issue.
2) The guy may in fact be a racist, but let's keep in mind, he was going through training. Obviously he and the company recognized there was an issue, and at least they were trying to fix the problem.

I always thought he had weird mannerisms in those commercials. He's probably just a socially awkward dude who had success well beyond his social skills and talent. He couldn't last on the big stage.

Wow. Smart reasonable insight. It can be done.

I don't play a character. If I didn't think my opinion was right it wouldn't be my opinion. This isn't about opinions. There are many guys here who I disagree with who are just as confident in their opinions as I am in mine and it never goes to the place it always goes with you. And it isn't just me. Others are telling you the same thing, but you refuse to accept it and you just accuse all of us of "playing characters".

Like the Second Amendment discussion, you somehow have it in your head that I am some right-wing gun nut and so you don't even read what I actually write. You just wind up to pounce based on what you think you know. It seems like that's your basic approach here. Why don't you just try not doing that for a while and see how much more enjoyable your interactions will be.

For the 100,000th time, it's not that you "aren't nice." It's that you add literally nothing other than insults. That's why I don't think this is a character - you don't even realize what you're like. You follow JORR around and call him a drunk. You follow me around and always talk about being WOKE like a smartass. Your behavior is a board meme, for christs sake. What is it that you want out of this place? Just to run around and yell insults at people? How is that remotely enjoyable?

Jorr is correct. This is a dangerous, slippery, and quite worrisome slope we're going down.

What if the cell line cut out?

"I dont want to (line cuts out)re(back in)nege (line cuts out) on (back in)her"

Who was the one comedian who got the audience to say the N-word by having them finish the last two syllables of vinegar?

No, you have no point. I have you blocked (and you're the only person I've ever blocked). I'm only manually clicking on your posts in this thread to respond. How would I be following someone around that I have intentionally blocked? This is all your imagination. I want to help you see the light. You come into threads, talk massive shit, and then try to act like it's comparable when someone responds to you. Are they just supposed to sit there and take it while you make personal attacks? If you really think I follow you around and vice-versa, let's make a deal: you never respond to my posts and I'll never respond to yours. Deal?

Hah, it wasn't meant as a defense. The guy (Papa John) obviously had no sense of how his comments would be perceived. He had a duty to explain to his investors why the company did poorly, so he was in a tough spot, but I think he tried to buddy up with the owners' position. Then you rile up a large portion of your customer base. I think he has zero social skills.

I've had conversations with him as well, and in person he's not the "my opinion is right and everybody who disagrees with me just doesn't get it" character that he takes on here.

There is nothing wrong with strongly held opinions. The reason I say that is because as I previously stated, in person you don’t take the “my way or the highway” stance you do on here. Whether that is a character or “board muscles” that’s not my recollection of real life interaction with you. Your second amendment example is perfect. At least on here you could give fuck one what the actual words in the first part of it is, nor what the actual writings of the guys who designed the thing say. You are right and all who disagree are wrong. Is that how you would handle the conversation over a vodka? I highly doubt it.

Still not as offensive as Papa Roach.

Couple of thoughts on this guy:

1) When he was CEO, it was necessary to tell investors why the company was having an inferior quarter. And the NFL ratings were down, and there was a lot of controversy. So it makes sense that he would disclose his feelings on why Papa John's was suffering.

I thought that post would get Bmac to scream that Dennis was defending him.

Oh I know you weren't but that has nothing to do with what I expected a Bmac response to be.

Deal?

So you have me blocked, yet you read my stuff and selectively decide which to respond to, yet you need me to stop responding to your condescending drivel in order to just not respond to me? Seems like you could just choose not to click “read this post” or if the temptation is too great, then not click “reply” once you read it. Your self control is not something I can influence.
