Not even that.

Just post the video and publicly scorn the fool.

I think a citation and fine of a couple hundred dollars would be ok. Regardless of race, it was harassment.

Are you in favor of the same fine and citation for Fr. Pfleger and his protestors? For the people that get in Milo's face?

Perhaps ... but it's not quite the same with the latter two than with the lady. She was just standing around and, afaik, was minding her own business up to that point. The other two are out there making a spectacle of themselves for whatever reason(s) and it wouldn't be hard to argue that they were inviting 'dialogue', to keep it polite.

It wouldn’t be hard to argue that chick in the short skirt and low cut top drunk at the bar wasn’t inviting “sexual assault “, to keep it polite

If I were the judge in this case I would scold the prosecutor for bringing it into my courtroom and then I would turn to the defendant and admonish him to stop being a jerk.

I am guessing that the defendant has a history with the court, and has a long list of substance abuse related crimes.

The second part definitely is, but nobody, least of all me, has argued that judges don't have great latitude in running their courtrooms. The first part is the proper and appropriate decision under the law. The video does not help the prosecution. The woman was not assaulted and even drunks have free speech rights under the First Amendment. Case dismissed.

After all these year I assume it has. It is just a pacification. They always were able to consider contributing factors to crimes in sentences etc before any of it.

One of the articles I read about the story said he has had multiple arrests for domestic battery.

Yes, I read that too.

One thing I found interesting is the the Forest Preserve Police had to go out and arrest this guy at home. I know they are technically county cops, but I have never seen those guys outside of a forest preserve, or en route.

Ok Matlock, time to take a refresher course on the legal definition of assault.

If that's assault we're gonna need more prisons. Was Betsy De Vos assaulted at lunch? I'm sure you don't think so.

That Matlock thing was a nice touch though.

They should’ve arrested Bernstein years ago then.

Yes on people getting in Milo's space. I mean seriously, give a person 2 feet, this old man was like up against this lady.

If any of the protestors of Pfleger were harassing people like that, then yes, fine them.
