I see this place is going to be on "The Profit" this week. Their pizza is very average.

Nothing simple about it? All PIZZA is the same? Maybe the broad expert dOUCHEBAG can chime in with his expertise on the slice? So everyone please embrace this new and better SLICE PIZZA. Where did this come from???????? But you 'ARE SURE' they designed everything?

Ranking the slices on the SW Side:

Waldo Cooney's: Very good when fresh.

Beggar's: Good, but the same as their thin crust pizza. The other slices have thicker pizza.

Barraco's: Pretty good. Huge.

The Place on 95th and Wood by the Tracks: Meh.

Slice Factory: The slices look really, really good--but they're less than average.

What am I missing? Please let me know.

we have this new place everyone is talking about called "your pie" where you choose the type of crust, type of sauce, and toppings on your own little personal pizza. or as i call it, how you've ordered pizza since the beginning of pizza.

we had a local italian place that was on one of the fixer upper food network shows. their food what shit and he fixed it but the moment he was gone, they changed everything back to normal and then went out of business.

I like Madison but have never been impressed with the food scene there beyond a few places. What are your current top spots?

I wonder where a place like that would have ended up on the PIZZA RANKINGS

It would depend on whether JUAN or JUANITA was selling the pizza.

Yeah, because it wasn’t like there were any clues given in the thread title.

I just saw the episode and it was a complete disaster.

Unless there is something they didn't show to make the audience a bit more sympathetic to the owner, this guy did not come across favorable/likeable whatsoever.

He appeared to be angry, combative and completely uncooperative with everybody - especially the host, Marcus Lemonis.

There also seemed to be major family issues with a passing of a son and another son and his wife who left the Crestwood location to operate the store in Burbank.

My recording cut off with the last minute missing so I don't know exactly how it ended. The last thing I saw was Lemonis leaving and thanking the owner for NOT hiring him to help.

When I was younger, my uncle used to take us to Freddy's on South 61st Avenue in Cicero. Not sure if they did/do serve slices but they were the big thick square Sicilian slices and they were terrific. Haven't been there in years.

I hit this place up on the way to the Tri-State after the Donspiracy FIL Invitational. Pretty solid for what it is - choice of individual toppings and a drive-thru. 2 slices, each with 2 toppings and a soda for $7 and change. Didn't take very long at all and the served in a pizza box.

He's a weird guy. He coached me in basketball in 8th grade. As a coach, he was fine to me (although looking back he totally favored me and two other kids)

Was also on the reality show "World's Strictest Parents" and that was AFTER the son OD'd (just kind of weird to go on a parenting show after something like that)

They pulled their kids out of catholic school to home school them when they were in like 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade.

Last time I went there, they did and the food was still pretty good.

Yes, those are awful. This place cooks the mushroom and sausage under the cheese, quality of the toppings was way better too.

I'll have to swing by and try it if I'm ever in that scummy, shithole portion of the suburbs.

I was playing Midlothian. Left the course, saw the "Alsip" sign, tipped my visor on account of Panther, was about order from my local place, when lo and behold, a drive-thru place referenced on the board appeared. Waited until the Hinsdale Oasis for my slices to cool down.
