Holy shit, that's terrible news. I remember back when I was keeping an eye on the Senators in those halcyon Hossa/Havlat days that there was this goalie named Ray Emery who was gonna make it to the team and be the last piece of their puzzle. Didn't quite work out that way, but Emery turned out to be one player among many without whom we don't win that 2013 Cup. I don't think any of us who watched it will ever forget the Flames game. Sad to see him die this young.

Screwing around on a boat shouldn't be deadly. These guys had to be drinking all night, right? Or just getting started very early in the morning??
