Also and more importantly is that they invested their money. When BigFan was going to shut the site down they stepped up. Nothing else matters and is conjecture. Regardless of whether it is overly successful or not they are still running a business.

But when it becomes a problem is when you have a large group of regular posters complaining in PMs or in Facebook groups about the content that is allowed to exist on the board. And you know what I'm talking about. I was even accused of fostering the environment which is bullshit.

So what do you want? Should we allow everyone to say whatever they want and just have people whine about it in private or should it be addressed? I'm sincerely interested in the answer. We certainly haven't acted like this is "our board, our rules, go fuck yourself if you don't like it."

I agree he knew what he wrote was unacceptable. I’m fine with banning or suspending anyone who after warning says things as explicitly racist as “black people are trash” or use racial slurs. Most normal people don’t want to read that shit, understandably.
