As previously stated i would never want to see anyone banned from this place. That includes Toxic and America. If their racism is adversely effecting the place then that might be a reason for them to go. Apparently it was.

I think some are simply upset that it is becoming increasingly more difficult to be openly racist in today's society. No one should have to be placed on ignore just to get away from shit like that.

I don't know about all that. What I always did wonder about was what is your preference? Meaning out there for you or hidden? If I were a minority I think I would prefer to have the racism right there in front of me. Even if very ugly at least you know the obstacle. The hidden ones or unidentifiable "institution" would be more worrisome. Just a guess anyway.

Open racism doesn't bother me. I'm more bothered by the tolerance for it. There will be prejudice and racism as long as all of us our alive.

Silence regarding racism bothers me and advocacy for racists is troublesome. That isn't to say that everyone needs to be civil rights activists when it comes to this stuff. That isn't it. If you are going to be on the sidelines then be on the sidelines about it. Thats cool. Doesn't have to be everyone's thing. Comfortable with that.

Too often on here what i find is that the racism itself is not objectionable. Rather it is the person that calls out the racist that people find objectionable. That is what is happening here with the Wisemen.

If you are going to fight for the right of people to be openly racist then you should also fight for the right of people who find such language objectionable.


I don't see that much on here. The guys that find it objectionable are the ones that are condemned the most.

That's about how I saw it too. It's one thing for someone to get launched because some mod had a cob in his ass, and it's another thing to have been asked to stop shitposting something hateful or racist or what have you, give the virtual finger several times, and then being shown the door. This is 100% the latter.

I don't like bannings ... I think when the 'ban Steve' thread started a long time ago, I was the first one to say 'no', so it's not some new opinion of mine. But as I said, he was asked on well more than one occasion to stop doing 'x', and the guy decided he'd keep doing 'x'. I don't feel 'bad' for America any more than I feel 'bad' for that idiot drunk in that recent El station video where he gets Mike Tyson'ed within inches of the third rail.
