Seems like a nice guy, but we really are in the dog days of summer.

Will tune back in when Parkins gets back.

Shouldn't sports talk radio listeners just be clamoring to hear that all important football talk right about now?

Today's topic complaining about how (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky carries himself, his attitude, or whatever is very close to the "Frank Thomas doesn't smile in the on deck circle." criticism from years ago.

Bad.

Is that what I've missed today?

If so, thank the maker I left Pandora on.

Which is worse - someone regularly spouting that kind of nonsense, or Bernstein regularly decrying that kind of nonsense?

Nice to hear Steve Silverman. He used to be on the station quite a bit in the early days. Buffone's song about him to the tune of Silver Bells was funny:

Silver Man, Silver Man, soon it will be Super Bowl.

I think it was the company and fish rule... after 3 days and all.

Loved Uncle Teary's return. That was 3 good days of radio.

pretty sure they stated at some point that it was Terrys choice as to how many days he did and he asked for 3 days.

Prefer small media market Golden State Warriors basketball talk right now.

isn't that exactly how many days he actually came into the city throughout his last contract or two for B&B? i know he did at least a couple'a days a week at home via ISDN line during the home stretch of his career.

I think that started when there was that big construction on the Dan Ryan and he successfully negotiated not having to deal with that. That could not have been a fun commute from the south burbs.

I always wondered what happened to him. He was one of my favorite fill in hosts from back in the day. Hub seems to have stolen his role at the station.
