Trailer coming this weekend at SDCC.

I'm pretty confident the "Conjuring" director will make a solid film.

Aquaman is an interesting character.

There were some corny parts, but also a lot of great action scenes.

There is a cut of the movie with 2 different Darkseid scenes, and a much more fleshed out backstory for Steppenwolf. Fucking Warner Brothers studio said no to that cut, and we were given this weaker version. There is also a post credits scene with 2 green lanterns that was cut.

DC just needs to be in the hands of a studio who actually gives a fuck about the source material.

A lot of these superhero characters, are not good in standalone films. I use Hulk as the example. By himself, those movies sucked. Team him up with Thor/right director, fucking gold. I am shocked WW did well, but then again they pretty much copied Captain America. This is going to be a flop, and that really sucks.

Is it too late for DC to give Nolan a hundred million dollars and have him weave the rest of the dc universe into his Batman trilogy. I’m surprised they didn’t cast the rock or vin diesel for the roll.

I just saw Justice League last night. What an utterly joyless piece of shit, with nails on chalkboard forced humor. The main villain is Sauron from Lord of the Rings. A last alliance of men, aquamen and Amazonians put him away, but now he's back. And even though they seem more than capable of defeating him the team has to bring Superman back from the dead.

Then, much like Luke Cage in the Defenders, it's no longer apparent why the other team members are there because they are basically just getting in his way. What a joyless cash grab, and the scary thing is that Titans looks even worse.

The director's cut is supposedly much better, but the studio wanted to release the version we saw.
