DBacks seem to have the Cubs number both this year and last year.

Buchholz come off the DL for month and baffles the Cubs lineup. Terrible.

Lester wont lose 2 games on a homestand.

Cubs'll win tomorrow.

DBacks would get Chatwood Thursday.

AZ wins 3 of 4.

Tuesday night's post game was priceless on the score. First, Joe is crying because his starters are only going 5 innings recently. He rarely let's them go 6 even with a 85 pitch count if they're pitching good, and uses up to 6 pitchers in a low scoring game. Now because of fewer days off his bullpenning masterplan is in in a tizzy.

Also ZZ took one phone call. Usually he'll say oh they couldn't wait and hung up then move on to the next segment. The caller said he didn't like the lineup. The caller appeared to be pranking. ZZ cuts him off and goes into apologist mode rattling off numerous Cubs team stats that make Joe's lineup switching a non-issue. Good stuff.

Yeap. Tough games to watch. The Cubs offensive was dead. It was a pop up fest yesterday.

So Bryant has a serious issue or not? The Cubs are like a hockey coach about their injuries.

His lack of power all year makes me think that something is wrong, at the very least in a nagging sense.

It sure sounds serious. If Bryant has to go on the DL, Theo should just stand pat and not waste any of the little minor league talent left.

The good news is that both Villanueva and Candelario are hitting under .240, so losing them over the last couple of years hasn't been a big deal.

I figured Baez or Russell could play 3rd right?

Baez has often in the past.

And Happ can play 2b. Lots of options.

Yup. LaStella or Baez at 3rd, Russel at SS, Zorbrist or Happ at 2nd, Baez or LaStella at 1st, Rizzo on the mound.

They can play Zobrist at 2B or Bote at 3B, and have Baez take whichever spot is empty.

I think they could trade Caratini straight up to the Dodgers for Machado because I have heard what a valued bargaining chip he would be in a trade.

Yup. Scratching my head at the offense the last three days. It took two errors to get that second run in today.

What's with Heyward losing the ball in the sun this year? In his first two years I never saw him lose the ball once in any game I watched. Time to see the eye doctor?

What's the deal with DeJesus pretty little girl?

Helped daddy sing the 7th inning stretch and she turned out to be a boy!

Did DeJesus conduct with a pen while hypnotizing the crowd with his teeth?

One time Brasky showed up to the Cubs TV booth. He yelled, "I'll show you a guitar" and proceeded to play 'Smoke On The Water' using nothing but Len's polo shirt. Then he threw Jim DeShaies out of the window, and hypnotized the entire crowd with this teeth. To Brasky!
