That list completely sucks, sorry but putting a Jersey Shore episode in the top 20?

At least they had "The Suitcase" from Mad Men in the top 3

Terrible

It's a list designed to troll, I believe.

They limited it to one episode per show.

It's the Ringer. A site run founded by a dumbass that wishes he were a Millennial, with content provided by dipshit Millennials that think reality television was invented around 1995.

I refused to click when I saw RPB say an episode of The OC was in the top 10.

"Pine Barrens" is one of the worst Sopranos episodes. It's like "Fly" from Breaking Bad. I'd go with "Stage 5" as the best Sopranos episode.

I was okay until I saw the OC anywhere in this list.

Live Free of Die because them finding out Vito is gay is the funniest thing in television history.

I don't know, but the one where shakes the Chessmaster and the others had to make a drink without using their hands was pretty great.

I like Pine Barrens, but it's not even top-10 Sopranos. I guess I would say it's the funniest.

That's not even the best Lost episode.

Walkabout is better than that. But neither should be in the top 10 of all time.

Fly and Pine Barrens are great.

Ozymandias has no competition as the best episode of TV in history.

The Six Feet Under finale is #67. Some episode of Jersey Shore is #14. That don't make no sense...

I really liked "Fly." Its an interesting change of pace. People like to rag on it, but its better than several problematic first season episodes.

"Face Off" had my favorite moment of the series. When Hector started mashing his bell and it was thudding instead of ringing, I literally stood up and yelled, "OH SHIT!"

"Pine Barrens" is great. Every time I see someone getting a hot dog I always say, "Mix it wit da relish."

Not a single episode from Fargo on the list and the best breaking bad episode is 10th?
Trolls just want to troll.

sweet, click-bait. this is like one of those "Redrafting the 2011 NFL draft" pieces that has Nate Solder going 1st overall over Cam Newton.
at least the Ringer doesn't make you click through dozens of pages and interstitial ads to view the entirety of their list.

re: "Best Talkshow Host" sidebar. No Craig Ferguson seems wrong.

I'd go with the white-out/snowstorm gunfight episode from S1 as best Fargo episode.

The best Nathan for You is easily the Haunted House episode.

i think too much effort went into it to be considered "clickbait" but it's way too inclusive. there are shows on that list that don't belong in the top 100 of anything except awfulness.

it's odd that they threw in some high quality shows like "firefly", "freaks & geeks" and "battlestar galactica" but then left out others like "stranger things", "rectify" and even "the x-files" (you can include stuff from season 11; and even seasons 7 & 8 had some goodies).

but to have any of these horrendous "reality" shows wind up on the list, just shows the airheadedness of this society anyway. i mean, OK if you want to include "Survivor"--i guess? it's a game show. they did include something from "the price is right" afterall. but "the jersey shore" and "keeping up with the kardashians"? yikes.

i made sure to skip over the "ozymandias" selection as i'm still in season 4.

Season 2, Rhinoceros. The episode where the Gerhardts come to Luverne to get Charlie out of jail and kill Ed.

The castle is a close second (the episode with the Souix Falls massacre) however, the UFO thing.

As RPB said, the previous episode (To'hajiilee) is joined with Ozymandias, and combined, are about as compelling an episode you will find. The emotion was so powerful, the writers had to get approval from the Writer's Guild to delay the credits from the opening sequence until Act 2.

WZ, you may want to skip this semi-spoiler for now:

In the podcast, Gilligan said that before they settled on the title of "Face Off" for the season 4 finale, the working title was "Ding-Boom."

The people who put together this TV Guide list about 10 years ago are the ones I would want creating a top 100 list for this century.

https://www.listchallenges.com/tv-guide ... v-episodes

This is a pretty good list

much more comprehensive, involving all of television's history. "peekaboo" is a good pick. sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes hilarious.

and hey, a "farscape" sighting.

Peekaboo is flat out depressing, but yeah a great episode.
