Seriously tho, why is Tom Hardy playing Eddie Brock like Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man?

Anything is better than Topher Grace's portrayal.

Yeah I'm digging it too.

Really looking forward to seeing Woody Harrelson as Carnage. Supposedly, that happened in the SDCC footage.

I thought Riot was the villain? (Similar to Carnage)

Yes Riot and Scream in this film.

People floating around the idea of the Carnage reveal being a post credits scene.

I thought Woody Harrelson was already cast as Carnage.

I don't think who is portraying is official yet, and it would likely be Cletus Kasady during the movie with a late turn to Carnage.

Early word on this is that it’s bad to the point of Hardy is badmouthing it.

Didn't they take it from an R rating to a PG13?

I think they were trying hard to get Disney to incorporate it into the universe.

Just saw it a couple hours ago.

Definitely different than any comic book movie I have seen. Has the dark feeling of a Blade movie. Venom is the anti-hero that we need and works. I hope this sets a precedence for a reboot of Blade, Ghost Rider, and Punisher that we need.

I hope they make sequels and tie this somehow to the Spiderman universe. They are also really pushing this Into the Spiderverse thing.
