Getting a bad feeling. Didn’t see the game but seems like the brewers are amped up w their recent trades like the cubs were last year w Q. Pirates may be riding high now too.

Cry more.

I would, but my team still has the best record in the NL. Seems melodramatic.

Hold on tight to that .002 the cubs are better than the Brewers, For at least one more day.... Cubs will be inhaling the Brewers exhaust the rest of the season.

But hey. Y’alls team got 1 World Series and got there asses kicked in 2 NLCS’s to hang their hats on.

Some dynasty.

the "chirping cubs fan" isn't a good look...mainly because the team can't back it up.

True, but the Cubs won the NLDS on that call last season.

If Pitt didn't lose Cole they are winning the division.

They were never going to be able to resign him though.

He wouldn't have the Astros magical spin rate if he was still there. Also they wouldn't have traded for Archer.

Fuck Russell. I have had it with him. He has mostly shit at bats, he has the production of a backup catcher and his defense is no where close to what it was 2 years ago. He has been fucking worthless since that trip to LA where he got caught impregnating half the country. Get your head out of your ass or get gone. He has had so many defensive lapses this year that have not been counted as errors but were plays he could have made. Can't stand him and can't wait until they unload him and put Javy there permanently. I'd play Bote at 2b when Bryant gets back just to get this shithead out of the lineup.

He's really painting the edge of the zone.

Didn't help him too much, though.

Yeah. Pretty impressive. A bunch of borderline balls and gets the called strike on a curve six inches outside.

 I know. The inning would have been over 2 batters earlier with that call.

this game is difficult to watch. Wonder what his strike zone will be with a concussion.

My my ... I don't recall ever seeing an umpire willingly throwing in the towel. Not giving him the business, just don't recall seeing an ump remove himself due to injury.

Len and JD aren't explaining this. Why is there a 15 minute delay for an umpire being hurt? Just put another guy behind home plate and umpire with 3 guys. I don't get this. The guy is out. What's the delay for?

So after 15 minutes they did what I said, went with 3 umpires. Somebody please explain why there was a 15 minute delay.
