He had to put the protective gear under his clothes.

I could imagine it being packed away too as I bet they have their own gear.

Beardown, how long does it take you to disrobe and put on your protective gear?

They're really making Hamels work to get this win.

Do you consider warmed bacon grease protective gear?

It's going to take him every bit of 100 pitches to get through 5 innings.

I was born with protective gear. God knew I would need it as white women hate me. I've needed it vs. them countless times.

Hamels was running away with the game. Is it necessary to tax the bullpen just for the sake of taxing it? Personally I like the matchup when my starter is up 7-1 until he gets into trouble.

Nothin' gets ya more trained-up and ready to fly drop sorties on the outskirts of Falluja than spinning around the Allegheny during a Pirates game.

While presented in a somewhat unique way, this is yet again another example of you not having needed to bring race into the discussion.

Good to see a starter who can hit 95 on the gun.

Yes he was.

Still, I find it hard to believe that he will come to the far better league and continue to perform like this. Hope he does, though. No gimmies in the NL.

Wow. I wasn't paying attention to MPH. If his old ass is 95 at times the cubs got something. I thought he was a washed up junk baller at this point in his career. Not that I watched or followed him this year. But just looking at his stats.

He was consistently around 93 that I saw.

It’s a push. Eddie Butler earned the win in his first game with the Rangers.

I don't understand why Rosario is in Iowa while Duensing is still here being shitty. Put him on the damn DL with something. He is a guaranteed run per inning now.
