I don't understand why Rosario is in Iowa while Duensing is still here being shitty. Put him on the damn DL with something. He is a guaranteed run per inning now.

I'm interested to see how much they actually use Rosario in Iowa. If it was me, I'd cut him way back for two weeks, then start ramping his appearances back up to 2 innings every second or third game.

I feel sorry for the kid because he's probably going to miss 30 game checks at the MLB salary, which is probably $50k after-tax out of his pocket compared to his AAA pay.

It's amazing how many pitchers have pitched for the Cubs this year. I think it's over 30 (including position players who pitched).

Yeah I feel bad for Rosario. He has pitched well and done everything asked of him and he gets sent down.

I was traveling around and stopped in Pittsburgh on Tuesday night just in time to run over to the game for the last few innings. That park is such a pleasant place to watch a game.

I was also on pittmike's campus but did not try to look him up because that's the way I roll.

Should have rang me up. We could have had pirogi and discussed the home land.

I had the pulled pork and pierogi concoction they have at PNC. Glorious!

When you are standing on the quad looking towards the big tower on Pitt's campus, what is the building on CM campus you are looking at? The spaz tour guide didn't know and it seemed like the most picturesque building in the entire place.

My boy loved CM. It looked to me like a school where fun goes to die. I want him to be studious and on a serious campus but I don't want him to live in drudgery for four years.

You may be talking about the Mellon building? With all the big white columns? Anyway both CM and Pitt are for smart students and very rewarding in about every way in that sense. I do feel that there seems to be less fun and whatever being an in city campus but the ones that are here seem to get by.

There is no doubt about the education and reward but yes depending on your son the campus is not as attractive as others.

I think the campus is aesthetically very nice. I just saw a students quickly walking to into buildings without any smiles on their faces on a beautiful day and looking like they had never seen the sun.
