Looks like a beautiful day for a ballgame. Who's gonna be there tomorrow? Dennis?

Maybe. I'm downtown in the morning. What can I nab a seat for at gametime, assuming I'm not still crippled by my toenail?

Nope sorry Jorr. We’re off to NYC tomorrow. I’ll be at Citi Field tomorrow night. I have a couple of Cubs games later this month and the Brewers/Cubs at Miller Park on Labor Day.

Way to fucking respond. Get the first batter on and then strike out 3 times in a row. Nice pitch selection Almora. Even Javy wouldn't have swung at that. Last place Padres. Hell of a game. 2 fucking hits.

Another great inning for Duensing while Rosario is in Iowa. Way to just lay down Joe. Might as well get Chatwood in for the 9th. 7.64 is a fucking ridiculous ERA for August.

Outhit 15-3? (And all 3 hits were weak.) Embarrassing.

Just a bad night. Forget it and move on.

Thankfully the Brewers are getting pounded by LA.

If it was one game so be it but they have had a bunch of turds since the break. 2 vs the dbacks, 2 vs the cards and 1 vs the pirates and then tonight.

Another shit showing. This team has been brutal since the break. The next 7 are against SD and KC. Going into tonight, I was looking for 6-1 or 5-2 at worse. They are going to have to do some work now. You can't keep having shit nights offensively, especially against garbage ass pitching. People need to quit saying it's just 1 game, no, it's been a laundry list of awful games.

Suprised there's no talk about Joe pulling Montgomery after 5 1/3 innings? Granted he had jams, but got out of all of them. He only had 79 pitches. Joe's cries about Chatwood who averages 4.9 a start not going longer screwing up the bullpen. Then he pulls Montgomery yielding no runs with a guy on first. In Joe's postgame press conference Joe said the hook was about preserving the lead not fatigue, or pitch count. Joe in the playoffs will again be scary.

3 hits vs a guy who had a 14.14 ERA as a starter this year. Fuck. This. Team.

Joe's comments are fascinating. He always preaching obp over batting average. But in today's trib he's saying Javier Baez not having a high obp isn't important.

Only because the Brewers lost 9 out of 11 of something like that right before/after the AS break.

The Cubs are under .500 since the AS break.

I want to thank the Padres for having their big inning during halftime of the Bear game

NTERLEAGUE UPDATE: In July, the NL was victorious over the A.L. by margin of 42-31 (+11), bringing the 2018 season total to N.L. 115, A.L. 95 (+20). N. L is leading A.L. for just the 5th time out of the last 22 seasons, since IL play began in 1997. #MLB

 that is the stat that you guys have used for years to show the AL was dominant, and now when the NL is leading it by a pretty wide margin it dont matter
