They will be fine. If Fultz turns into a player they go to the next level. Its on him.

Interesting that Ben Simmons was chosen as the guy most likely to make the All Star team of the guys that haven't.

Did you know that he can't shoot?

Golden State won without him though. They're a Draymond Green suspension away from winning 5 straight. Throw in Cousins this year and they can overcome an injury to any player. Boston was a couple baskets or stops from the Finals last year. I don't think Boston is winning even if healthy.

The year they won there was no Irving or Love and they were still taken to 6 games.

He has been the difference the last 2 seasons. You remove him and they lose to Houston. They lose last year also.

I don't expect much from Cousins this year. No way he takes 5 mil if he thinks he will be a factor.

Draymond Green was available to play in the last game and they still were bounced. If memory serves correct i think he played the last 2 games of that series.

Yeah and I thought Tatum was best guy in the draft at the time too. Colangelo made some terrible moves but I think Fultz will be fine. I'm not worried about him I just think and thought Tatum was better.

Last year watching him play something about his personality kinda rubbed me the wrong way. Couldn't really put a finger on it, but something about him seems "off".

Now to hear this about his work ethic and love of the game I'm wondering if this guy is ever going to reach his potential or develop a reliable jumper outside 3 feet. He was a total dud in the playoff series vs Boston, think he even had 1pt in the final game (or one of the games).

So before we start calling this guy the next great one, let's pump the breaks a bit and see if he shows any improvement this year.

He had a bad game. I think he had a triple double the night before. This coming from the guy that tells us how great Lonzo Ball is playing even after scoring 0 points. If Lonzo Ball had put up Ben Simmons stat line from last night this idiot would have erected a monument for him.

It's amazing to me how some of these elite prospects can't shoot at all. Like, at all. As in, don't even know how to hold a basketball properly while attempting to shoot.

How the fuck do you play basketball with coaching every day over basically your entire life and never learn how to properly shoot.

Simmons is probably the worst shooter in the entire league regardless of position. He literally can not shoot a 5 foot jump shot. And watching him this year it's obvious he made zero effort in the offseason to improve on that despite how badly he was exposed vs Boston in the playoffs.

You must have forgot that you (Only with many on here) had Minnesota with better young talent at the time. How soon we forget and even with that the premise was still correct. Only team with better "Young talent" is Boston and their young talent is basically Tatum. Brown is cool but he isn't an All NBA kind of guy. I'd still take Simmons and Embiid over any two young players on any team in the league right now.

You are so senile that you seem to have forgot that this thread was started prior to the Hayward and Irving moves.

i think he will be fine in today's NBA. Brown has to play him off the ball a little more. Let him fill the lanes as opposed to always having the ball in his hands. With his speed he would be devastating. Likely All Star this year. He will be fine. I honestly don't ever think he will have a jump shot. His mechanics are bad. Maybe his will get a mid range game but I don't ever think he will be a 3 point shooter. Shot is too flat to ever have any range on it.
