How is playing in the minors gonna help him at this point? Let him start figuring out the bigs and generate some fan interest to boot. They did this with Big Frank and they wasted four months.

A September of playing in the division where no one has a chance and the Indians are keeping people healthy for the playoffs isn't exactly challenging either.

I have no problem with people saying, "fuck Eloy. We want the extra year". But don't wrap it up in rationalizations about the lack of competition this time of year. It's the big leagues.The competition is stellar compared to where he's at.
