What a breath of fresh air this movie turned out to be in our overly sensitive politically correct world.

Nowadays it looks like a Trump supporters fantasy flick.


Ya some of the scenes come off as racist in today's PC world, but at the same time a bit refreshing. Ya i'm sorry for saying that but there's a part of that inbred proud American in all of us that wants to come out from time to time. Not many times, but sometimes. :lol:

Give the movie some credit , it was an equal opportunity basher : Mexican , Asian, Black, White, Gay, Jew, Women, Homeless, Rich Old farts.

It's one of those movies, like the Cable Guy, where individual scenes are funny and/or entertaining, while the broader story is stupid. For my money, I like the fast food scene in Falling Down. With the Cable Guy, I am partial to the pick up basketball game, but Medieval Times is in the picture.

I just watched the Siskel & Ebert review. There was a guy in the comments section who said that John Belushi would have been a better casting call than Michael Douglas. But honestly, if he’d have said Jim Belushi, I’d have considered him to be even more of a retard.
