A guy pitching a no hitter, Cubs hitters with plenty of near miss hits, winds shifting, controversial ump calls, a close game, and a drama packed ending. I noticed that Pat Hughes has a unique way of saying Eaton. He will do the same thing today with Tanner Ro-ork.

Yeah really poor effort today. Didn't look like they wanted to play at all. Once Rizzo got picked off 1st, I knew it was a wrap. Lester looks like he is done. Since mid June he has been getting lit up. All the hard contact has caught up to him. By then end of the season, people will see his numbers and wonder how the hell he was an All-Star.

Murph said Monty's next start was skipped so he had 10 days off, so I guess that's why he pitched yesterday.

Not sure what's up w/ this team. The game they won the other day 3-2 made you feel good but if they lost, it was a pretty pathetic effort.

But nobody in the NL is running away w/ this. maybe the other teams are going thru the same thing.
