W-L, in correct context, is neither obsolete nor ineffective as much as you would like it to be.

Bloodletting still happens, though it is not nearly as common as it once was.

Pretty sure I have never mentioned Cease or Jimenez at all, and if I have, I certainly wasn't fawning over them.

It doesn't seem to me the joy here is based on what a couple prospects might turn out to be, but rather on Cubs fans finally realizing and admitting what Sox fans already knew about Quintana.

Looks like Jorr is correct. It appears the joy is way more is Quintana leaving the Sox and arriving on the Cubs than it is over Eloy & Cease.

Small sample size. I will save my opinion on Q until after the playoffs. Same for Darvish. Giolitto and Moncada still suck though. :lol:

Plenty of sample size on Q and Darvish to have an opinion on their value. Giolitto and Moncado...not so much.
