Reading this post and then looking at the expression in Will Forte's face in your avatar made me laugh way more than it should have.

Thoughts and prayers for the chicken. He sounds delicious.

Good man. The chicken will probably no longer like you after you perform this surgery however.

thats what i told them. chickens don't really show they are in pain. they get really stoic. so it will sit there and let me perform the surgery on it but once its done, the bird will not ever come running to a human again.

btw, chickens are fun enough. but its a bit irritating to know you are feeding and housing a bunch of these things when you walk by the fridge at aldi and eggs are 39 cents a dozen.

The homegrown eggs tend to have a bit more color to yoke and more structure (less likely to have the yoke break) but yeah, the 39 a dozen or whatever is nuts. My wife gave up on her garden this year so she has poultry running around in it. It’s work but it’s better than dealing with her garden.

Tariffs are to blame for everything.

The funny thing is that we were taking an item off the shelf and sending it to a vendor in Schaumburg for nickel plating...

They just started some construction on the local lanes on Rte 53 near Woodfield. The I-90 ramp was a train wreck this morning getting onto Rte 53. I will be getting off at Roselle for a while.

You should be able to add moderators and admins to your "Foe" list so you don't have to see their drivel.

Just put The Hawk on ignore and you will miss most of Nas's then.

bumblefoot surgery was a success. i think. in case you were wondering. its still alive this morning.

you have to cut around this brown spot and then pull out the huge dry puss ball from underneath it.

I have a growth I've been looking to get rid of on the cheap. It sounds like you are ready for human experimentation

Flight from Houston to the twin cities this morning.

At about the two hour mark of the flight, toddler vomited about a liter of puke. Fuck.

My wife caught like 1/3 of it in her hands, that was quite remarkable. The rest of it went on her and on the seat. It was fucking awful.

Interesting when you read the above message without the context.

My complaint: I miss having babies and toddlers.

Yeah toddlers are pretty fun. 10 seconds after barfing all contents of his stomach out, kid was smiling like nothing happened and wanted to read books.

@One Post: Enjoy it, because it flies by. Way too fast.

@Inebriated Rodent: I probably miss the babies (when they're about 4-7 months old and fat little hogs) the most. I tell my wife that I wish I could experience that again--for two hours a week.

When my oldest was 1 we had to fly to a family wedding. As we were standing up to board the plane she puked all over my wife. We did not have time to clean it up very well. Talk about a miserable flight.

And little did you know that you would then be married into a baseball card fortune.
