The only reason to stand during a 3 hour show is if someone is standing directly in front of you and you can't see the stage.
My view was unobstructed, and I sat, along with all the other 40+something sheeple in the 300 level.

Asswipe.

I haven't seen many shows at the United Center because it's terrible for a music venue, but the 3 times I've been to a concert there I was standing at least 90% of the time through the headlining act. I'm sorry Billy Corgan couldn't inspire you to be enthusiastic about being there.

Were you on the floor?
Was it a Panic At The Disco or American Idol 'Live' show?
Do you stand during WNBA games and the circus too?

You seem to be more enthusiastic at expressing your anger to me. Maybe you should have spent this energy enjoying your concert.

I had no idea there was a Pumpkins review thread on here.

I went Tuesday. Awesome show. And Corgan didnt call out the fans leaving early during the encore.

Solara actually was awesome live. Especially with the video screens and light effects goin' on.

Let's be honest...no one gave a shit about Darcy not being there.

But to a call it an original lineup reunion is 100% bullshit.

Correct. Im happy with the current lineup, but its not 100% reunion.

Essentially only Iha was different from what the lineup has been the last 10 years.

And no I didnt miss Darcy, but she did play on all those records.

Yeah, we were in seats 3&4 in our row, so everytime the millennial frat douche and his girl got up to get another 312, they had to come our way.....we stood up and sat down at least 10 times total just for those 2 people. And they left way earlier than the encore - probably within the first 90 minutes......
Someone behind me kept kicking my seat all night, but I tried to ignore it.

I think my section was standing about 90% of the time...I went to take a leak and grab a beer right after Blew Away...got back and everyone took a seat until Mayonaise...then stood for the balance from there.

same here. Everyone standing except for a few slower/obscure songs in the middle.

It was directly before they played Muzzle, one of their greatest songs.
So, you're partly right, because Solara does pretty much suck, but the people leaving at the time he said it were in the hallways or leaving the building as they roared through Muzzle.

I'm not gonna lie...I laughed when he said it...then I bailed after Muzzle...I like Solara, but I didn't need to see it live, and I don't give a shit about Baby Mine

wait, if you left early, how did u know they were gonna play those songs?

The setlists have been published on setlist.fm, and aside from the outdoor show in NJ, it has been a pretty tightly choreographed show/set sicnce the tour began. Boyd was standing because he had better seats than I did, and had to compete to see. I didn't have that problem in the nosebleeds, so I sat. And I'm old....

You and Douchebag seem to be the only 2 people who seem to think it was advertised as such.

thats the problem. What the fuck is he doing checking the setlist before he sees the show?

he's supposed to go there and see what happens. See the show evolve in front of his own eyes.

He should not know whats next. He should be going there and see what happens.

And besides, maybe who knows, this could be the night they change something in the setlist.

Do you generally just walk around in life in a bright neon t-shirt that says "NO SPOILERS!!!"?

dont put words in my mouth. I already said what he should and shouldnt do.

He comes from the old school, so he needs to ACT like he's from the old school.

you GO to a concert to see what happens.

if you dont know what a song was, or u want to see what songs they played after you left, then you check setlist.fm AFTER the concert. Not before.

This is a rock concert. You dont program your night. You go there and you roll with the punches.

You also don't tell people how they should enjoy thier music.

One of my favorite dirges is 'whistler should die in a fire'

I commend your commitment to the bit. It really is one of the funnier hard line stances I've seen here lately///
