Had been sick for a long time. Was the funny bad guy ("Robbie Rotten") on the wacko Icelandic kids show LazyTown, which followed the exploits of a gymnast named Sportacus who travelled by zeppelin in order to help out kids who were sedentary and given to eating too many snacks.

Pretty funny guy, too.
