I remember when he was in the minors he was so hyped up as the next Dodgers superstar. And next MLB supestar.

I forgot why they traded him, but i think they got him for a pitcher from the Reds. Then he got traded to the WSox and by then I think people wrote him off that he wasn't going to be the next great player but maybe average or pretty good.

Who would have known he would become a White Sox Legend. He was perfect for this city. Even had a Chicago sounding name.

White Sox manager Rick Renteria was feeling light-headed prior to Monday's game vs. the Twins and was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center for precautionary reasons, the White Sox announced.

Renteria underwent testing, which did not reveal anything of concern.

Chicago bench coach Joe McEwing served as manager in Renteria's absence.

The club announced that Renteria may return to Target Field later in the evening if he is feeling well enough.
