Stone made a good point. He's not throwing as hard tonight (96-97) as he'll eventually throw. Throwing a lot of pitching, but it's cool to see....so far.

Correct. He's putting some movement on the high-90's stuff though.

Cooper (correctly) surmised that Kopech would try to throw the fastest pitch of all time in his first game and thus told him no big velocity yet.

They traded Avilan to the Phillies. I think they have to call up 2 bullpen arms. Fulmer and Bummer would be nice. They sure need them.

Looks like they're calling up Ryan Burr (insert GD joke here). I think he was acquired from the D'Bags for international money. Hope he gets here quick or Rodon may have to throw a CG today.
