Breaking Bad definitely has the douchiest fanbase of the big four prestige dramas, and that's saying something up against Italian idiots who don't get that The Sopranos is mocking them and the legion of rogers park bryans who love The Wire.

Dexter's finale was pretty fuckin terrible.

I thought The Americans finale was the best ever. The show itself wasn't a top ten but the final season and final episode was fantastic.

Issue I've always had, why is Phil's beef over his brother getting killed taken so seriously as compared to all the other killings in the Johnny Sack vs Carmine Jr feud?

I mean I get being mad, but why is it a bigger deal than Angelo, Joey Peeps or Lorraine being killed?

The era in which we live allows us to see how many lamewads there are out there. I can only imagine what kind of pseudo intellectual deucheyuppies would have been snogging all over “Northern Exposure”, “Due South” and “The Adventures of Briscoe County Jr.” and going further back, “Hill Street Blues”, “Colombo” and “Kojak”.

“Breaking Bad” has its share of ludicrous shenanigans but never was it as nauseating as the 4th season of “Sopranos” and the first part of the last season.

Northern Exposure was kind of the transition into Prestige TV, though, wasn't it? It was fairly out there for network television. Not Twin Peaks out there, but it aspired to more than most shows did.

The first couple seasons of NE are outstanding. I didn’t mean to denegrate those shows, only the broad audience that would exist in these days.

NE did follow in the footsteps of Joshua Brand’s other great-until-the-finale show, “St. Elsewhere.”

Although with Exposure it was due to a cast change, not just a cheap out ending.

Terrible thought.
