Guess that last start by Mills was just smoke and mirrors

You missed my entire point. When deGrom wins, it means his team has won. When he loses, his team has lost. I am not assigning blame for either outcome. To say his win/loss record doesn't matter, means you don't care about the Mets win/loss record.

It means I don't use a team's win-loss record to analyze how good an individual is, or how positively or negatively that player contributes to the team.

Cool, me neither. But a pitcher's win/loss record is descriptive of the team's results. So for all that folks that keep saying it doesn't matter, well they're wrong. You add up the pitchers' records to get to the team's record (obviously), so of course it matters.

If Contreras would set up like a normal fucking catcher and frame a pitch correctly Mills is out of that inning or at least he doesn't walk them loaded.

Has LaStella had a hit since the all star game? He is cant even get the ball out of the infield if he is lucky to make contact. He was a great pinch hitter but i think he used up all the hits in his bats already.

Are you purposefully changing other people's points?

They, and I, say pitching records don't matter WHEN DISCUSSING HOW GOOD A PITCHER WAS OR WASN'T. Let me try to keep it in one simple, concise sentence.

Pitcher W-L is not an accurate indicator of pitcher performance.

Cool?

Why are you guys fighting? Forget about it.

Let’s enjoy the game. They looked dead last night but win. Hoping for a comeback.

Pathetic effort today. Schwarber is god awful. I'm throwing the flag in on him. Time to move him. Season started decent, but has been shit for a few months now. La Stella has been awful for awhile now, as well.

I dont know man. Hard to win 2 games in 1 day.

Good teams on this road trip coming up. 11 games. If they go 6-5 it will be a success.

Predicting :

L vs ATL.
1/3 vs PHIL
2/3 vs MIL
2/4 vs WSH

Cards lose tonight.

Brewers up 13-11 in the 10th now vs the Reds. Anything can happen. Reds coming up.

Reds HR 13-12 now. Reds gave up a cheap run in the 10th that may cost them. Let's see if they can put a few more across.

brewers win. 5 back.

Yelich cycle , 6/6.

That win by the crew was about as pathetic of a win as you can get. The Reds completely destroyed your pitchers and scored a shit ton of runs off your 2 vaunted relievers who are "not allowed" to pitch in games where the crew is down. Other than an outstanding night from Yelich that was just embarrassing baseball.
